CrooksStudioArt24 is the creative practice of Brisbane-based artist Troy Crooks, blending sculpture, painting, woodworking, and ceramics to explore the balance between material, emotion, and philosophy. Troy’s work investigates psychological and symbolic themes through tactile form and refined craftsmanship. He has exhibited in both solo and group shows, including Abstracted (Woolloongabba Gallery, 2025) and Abstracted Thoughts (E-Block Gallery, TAFE Queensland). His professional experience includes a Metro Arts internship, a technical assistant role for the Churchie Emerging Art Prize, and collaborative work with HOTA and the Brisbane Powerhouse, developing expertise in exhibition installation, curation, and material experimentation.
